| We maintain one of the best private R/C fields in Tennessee. We do not reside in a park or on public land. Our grass runway extends over 600 feet long and 100 feet wide, with wide open approaches in all directions. Any pilot can hit this runway! We have trainers at the field most weekends (particularly Sundays) to help beginners learn how to fly. The club also has a trainer airplane to help prospective pilots learn more about the hobby. And more advanced pilots will also feel at home through fellowship with the club's more skilled flyers. |
Conveniently Located: 25 minutes from Nashville, 15 minutes from Clarksville, 15 minutes from Springfield, and 5 minutes from Exit 19 off I-24.
From I-24 West:
1) Take I-24 West to Exit exit 19, Maxey Road
2) Turn right off ramp and go 3 miles.
3) Turn left at the 4 way stop on Stroudsville Rd, and go 1.5 miles.
4) Turn Left on Winters Road. Follow driveway to field beside the barn.
From I-24 East:
1) Take I-24 East to Exit exit 19, Maxey Road
2) Turn left off ramp and go 3 miles.
3) Turn left at the 4 way stop on Stroudsville Rd, and go 1.5 miles.
4) Turn Left on Winters Road. Follow driveway to field beside the barn.
